Aside from my job, Gaia Online is probably the biggest consumer of my time. For those of you unfamiliar with it, it's a website community/hangout aimed at teens and young adults. It started off as primarily a message board and very anime-oriented, but has since branched out with tie-ins to mainstream movies, car-related promotions, musicians dropping in, and lots of fun minigames. One of the main draws is the avatar system. When you join, you create a base avatar and participation in the site earns you items and currency.

My name there is Moonblossom (omgsurprise!) and this is my avatar. It changes fairly frequently, as I have a lot of items and love to dress her up. I am a Global Moderator Lead there, which means I am part of the moderating team who handles harassment and abuse cases, as well as taking responsibility for training some of the new moderators whenever we get them. It's a lot of work and can be fairly thankless, but knowing I'm helping members of the community feel safe and comfortable is reward enough.

Aside from moderating there, I am a huge collector of avatar art. I pay people in the site's currency, and they will draw artwork of my avatar. You can check out my collection here!
